Dear Mrs. Palmer, I have just finished English Ivy, which I loved. I was sure [hopefully] of the “right” outcome, but the “how” was most uncertain! It is your comment at the end on knowing God’s will that is most interesting and helpful. A number of years ago, our minister said the same thing in a sermon that has stuck with me. I weary of Christians “knowing” God’s will for them by circumstances or feelings or Scripture taken out of context. Furthermore, God has given us brains to reason things out based on Scripture as you so aptly revealed in this book. Thank you. I look forward to reading more of your books.
