As the daughter of missionaries, I grew up in two countries that once had been British colonies - just as the United States was so many years ago! In Bangladesh and Kenya, teatime remains a delightful tradition. Both men and women enjoy their hearty teas, and no child’s afternoon would be complete without a cup of steaming tea laced with milk and sugar.
My husband and I try to take tea together every day. We play soft music and sit beside the fire to talk over the day’s events. I cannot think of anything that has enhanced our 26-year marriage more! Please give teatime a place in your life with your family and friends. |
